In the beginning there was a hope that our Imaginary facebook page would be an educational resource. It was also possible that cheapie the leader of the group had his own self interest at heart based on his constant efforts to get everyone to sell on the page and off of Ebay. No fee's is a great selling point. Why buyers and sellers couldnt sell by private message seemed an odd request, one we made on the argument that seeing the selling price allowed new collectors to learn. But the educational value of the facebook page quickly diminished. The focus changed to generating more posting activity. So you see the none stop two for tuesday, wildcard wednesday , three for Thursday nonsense that is only designed to increase posting activity but has little educational value. You see knowledgeable collectors use the page to sell their wares with only a couple of them trying to help educate new members and others only doing so on a limited basis. And now you see Others for whatever reason all creating their own web page which only dilutes the activity . Facebook pages have limitations that i hope i can overcome with this page. My Goal is to restore more of the educational value to collecting that we were not able to provide on Facebook. At the same time I enjoy the parody value of this one section in laughing at some of the silly issues that could come up on an imaginary facebook page in another dimension.
